Expero’s previous website had been built by a number of different developers over a span of five years, which led to a disjointed user experience and inefficient CMS structure.
There were numerous technical challenges, as well as an ineffective and tech-heavy messaging that made the website difficult for Expero’s customers to navigate and understand.
Overall, the design, brand message, and site experience did not translate into the excellent UI/UX work that Expero is known for.

hmpsn studio implemented the following solutions to overhaul Expero’s website.
Through a series of discovery and brand strategy conversations with Expero’s leadership team, we were able to nail down a more clear understanding of the company’s positioning and their work.
We built Expero’s new site from the ground up, revamping the entire structure from both service and solution organization to their insights content strategy. This from-scratch build allowed us to examine how best to position Expero in the market and focus on the services and industries where Expero could make the greatest impact.
Working closely with Expero’s internal UX team, we developed an updated, consistent site style and messaging approach that reflects their innovative, data-driven work. Some unique features of this site included streamlined events registration, which allows attendees to register for upcoming events and add to their calendars, as well as easily convert past events into on-demand webinars that users can gain access to by submitting their information.
Based on Expero’s target metrics, we crafted a custom analytics dashboard that allows Expero stakeholders to stay plugged into important metrics and analytics—without the need to sift through Google Analytics and Search Console. The dashboard provides streamlined views of lead generation, page and traffic analytics, and more, to help Expero know how the new site is performing.
Results
Through our work together, we were able to completely shift messaging strategy and site structure to make it more clear how Expero can drive innovation for their customers. The updated sitemap and CMS are easier to update by the Expero team and have increased the visibility of their content. Their new analytics dashboard allows greater lead tracking throughout the site with additional upgrades on the horizon. Additionally, the website's page speed has improved considerably, allowing for a better user experience overall.
The team loves the new, easy-to-use website, and is already seeing increased traffic and conversion.
